Slacking In High Water

We jumped in the truck at about 5pm, and had to be back just after dark.  With a 30 minute drive to the boat landing, that left less than four hours fishing time.  Like most outdoor folks, I never have enough time; and this evening was no exception. Mike with a channelcat 45In this article, we'll explore a specific piece of structure on a large river, and discover where fish might hold on that piece of structure, and why.  This is a real spot, where I've actually caught fish (the one pictured, for example).  The methods are transferable to other river locations as well.
